Oh, this is awesome thus far! Your Harry has far more backbone and initiative than the canon version, and I adore him for it. Almost a Slyherin streak... but I guess I'll find that out next chapter. :P In any case, thank you very much for sharing your fanfiction with us. It is far too rare that I stumble across something that makes me laugh as hard as Harry's very, very, wonderfully succinct note to the Dursleys did.
