This story was really touching, and after reading Like a Fairy Tale, it made me really sad. You definately did the whole scene very, very well; I especially the analogy of a sick child wanting more ice cream. Well done!

That just...I don't know. It fits. Everything works very well with the story, and I loved the touch of the dragon flight. I'd never thought about this "little chat"...and this story answered some questions I didn't even know I had. Bloody brilliant job.

yey, its nice to see them as friends rather than Nicolas being the one looking after Albus.
Nicolas is afraid to die? so when Dumbledore tells Harry in the hospital wing that 'to the organised mind, death is but the next great adventure' he's saying it to protect Harry? oh i like that! i always thought of Nicolas as a strong person, nice to see him weak for a while!

Those that accomplish the most in life are often those most conscious of death stalking their footsteps. Motivation is very important. Without it, people tend to drift...as it sounds as if Nicolas often has. Very interesting conversation. Nicely done. :) (I really liked the image of Dumbledore riding a dragon!)

Oh this is good. You know what, I'd love to see more conversations between Nicolas Flamel and Albus Dumbledore. It's strange really the books only mention Nicolas once, in The Sorcerer's Stone. He is never mentioned again. It begs the question, is he still alive by the time of the fifth book (yes I know the bloody book isn't out yet but still.) And if so is there any chance what-so-ever of him meeting Harry and co.? I do so hope you will continue this story, or turn it into a series of stories based around chats between Dumbledore and Flamel. But since it is your story it is up to you if you continue it or not. I for one hope you do. Read ya l8r.
