That was...incredibly, amazingly cute. Just, really, one of the nicest little lighthearted stories I've ever read. I loved all the hints that were dropped, and the incomprehensibility, and of course the reveal. And just for the record, although it doesn't really need to be said: Sam is too sweet for words.

Everyone was so beautifully in character, and it's so *funny*... I knew it was some kind of 'be nice to Josh' thing all the way through, though I wasn't sure what - and the Department of Dimples... *grin* I'd vote for any govt. who promised to create one of them. ^_^

Oh that's adorable!
You spin the reader along beautifully, too. I didn't work out what the second "D" stood for until the final paragraph.
Perfect characterisation, lots of Sam which always makes me happy, and an unusually high Charlie and Matt Skinner quotient which is also a plus.

BWWAHAHAHA! 'Department of Dimples,' indeed. With the references to Noel, it wasn't tough to figure out that there was some kind of 'Be nice to Josh' conspiracy going on. Nevertheless, this was very cleverly done, with excellent banter true to the show's better moments. For example, the reference to Matt and Josh discussing things that were just 'a bad idea to try naked.' I don't think I even want to know what sparked that particular conversation. Thanks for sharing this fun read.

ok, now that i actually read the last sentence it all comes together! i'm incredibily stupid sometimes. this is incredibly cute! and i loved the tone and the dialogues, and the characters. i liked the slight competition between dona and sam, and that everyone is in on it is really sweet and heartwarming. aw!

What an adorable story! There were so many cute little character touches in this from just about everyone, although I particularly liked that it originated with Sam. (You did miss the obvious "You know, people are starting to realize why you don't date more girls..." crack. :) ) This was a truly innovative plot idea, and your dialogue matched the tone perfectly! I especially liked Josh's silly question about time zones. Made me laugh out loud! As did the choice of code word! Bwah!
