[Found it @ Doug's!] Excellent writing, especially the wind and the melody. I like it.

I must say, this is the best piece I've ever read regarding Shmi. I love the writing style, and you brought out more than her love, hope, and fear for her son - you showed her compassion, her willingness to move on, and displayed an overall sense of completion that was seriously lacking in the movie. I don't even care for Shmi, yet this story makes me completely understand her. Good job!

I like the style of writng Shada, you really managed to pick up on the mother/son bond, I think you managed to capture the essence of Shmi's character well, keep it up!

I love this...it is very poignant and captures a mother's love...too little is said about Shmi; realy it takes a very brave woman to say goodbye to her firstborn and unleash him on the world (in this case, galaxy) and her longings are very well spoken here. :) KEEP IT UP!
