Wow! Cool story, with a really unusual POV and twist to that episode! But one thing occurred to me while reading this...where did Kenshin learn to ride so well? I mean peasants & slaves probably aren't taught to ride, I doubt Hiko hauled a horse up the mountain just to teach him, and from what I know he did his fighting on foot during the Bakumatsu. Maybe during his wanderings?
