I LOVE THIS STORY! I saw the movie when I was very young and David Bowie gave me nightmares (I think it was the pants :P) but I revisited the movie a few days ago with a few friends and I quickly became obsessed. I found Time to Choose on google and then I started reading this one and I absolutely adore it!! It sounds like it works so well with the original story and your writing style is fantastic. I think I know what Adair was going to tell Jareth and I want to find out if I was right so update SOON please!!

I've just found your story and I wonder-- could Heather be a Phoenix and that is why there were only ashes? I've recently gotten into FanFiction and I remembered that I love this movie-- and who didn't find David Bowie yummy? Sarah always came off a snotty b-witch, but then what teenage girl isn't at that age.

Anyway, I'm falling into your spell and now I've come to the end of what you have written for the moment and I'm waiting breathlessly for your plot bunny to escape the hutch again.

Thank you for a brilliant story, though I wonder with Adair if Jareth would come to love (like his Sarah) Dawn. Now an interesting side bar-- he always watched the dawn and dusk fall from his window, perhaps this is where you got the idea to name Sarah's daughter Dawn? And her soulmate Jake-- both J names Heehee
