(though i'd PAY to see him gyrating around a stage wearing tight leather pants...*drools) anyway, hats off to an interesting cast of original characters that don't make me long for canon. I like your brief flashbacks to the conversations between Sesshoumaru and Rin. ‘Rin thought Sesshoumaru-sama would like these flowers. They’re white and pretty, like Sesshoumaru-sama!’ ‘Why do they shrink like that, Sesshoumaru-sama?’ ‘Did Rin kill them, Sesshoumaru-sama?’ No. No, you would never do that. i liked that one the best. p.s. want to join my yahoo group? it's called InuYashaStories and i've dedicated it to postings of fics that fit well into the takahashian world like yours. we need more stories, and i can guarantee you'll get feedback.

You were right though when you mentioned that it's a little drawn out... some places seem repetitive, though I don't suppose you can remove anything with out destroying the overall flow. Its nice though, I always like stories that take place in the time in between the fedual era and 'now'.

SP777 2003-10-25 ch 1, anon.	abuseWow! Wow! W-o-o-o-w! Now THAT was a story that had me looking forward to see how it ended. Never had a story had me this engaged in a LONG time, I even found myself chanting 'KICK his ...'KICK his !' when Sesshoumaru confronted that sorry 'son' of his. But what I liked is the fact a writer actually addressed Sesshoumaru actually admitting the end of an era and having to adjust to the changes. What I would like to see is him building a different type of 'empire' & 'title' for himself in the future. I'm just surprised this story didn't get more reviews than this, I guess folks just missed this.
