This story was very good. But when I read the part with Sesshoumaru killing his son was nasty and sad. I could never kill my child like that. He was cold beyond colded. This story made me cry.

Though you think this is a strange concept, I think you did a marvelous job with it. 'Twas a very nice character piece, and thank you for sharing it with us (even though I came across it a few years late... XD).

This is fantastic. It's also likely the longest single chapter I've found. I commend your subtle manipulation of Sesshoumaru, slightly OOC, but plausibly so. I only want to point out the Jaken is a kappa, not a toad. It's a common mistake, but I thought I'd tell you. keep writing!

yay! a thoroughly ORIGINAL portrayal of sesshoumaru in the future that DIDN'T involve a mary-sue or him being a rock star or something. (though i'd PAY to see him gyrating around a stage wearing tight leather pants...*drools) anyway, hats off to an interesting cast of original characters that don't make me long for canon. I like your brief flashbacks to the conversations between Sesshoumaru and Rin. ‘Rin thought Sesshoumaru-sama would like these flowers. They’re white and pretty, like Sesshoumaru-sama!’

‘Why do they shrink like that, Sesshoumaru-sama?’

‘Did Rin kill them, Sesshoumaru-sama?’

No. No, you would never do that.

You were right though when you mentioned that it's a little drawn out... some places seem repetitive, though I don't suppose you can remove anything with out destroying the overall flow.

Its nice though, I always like stories that take place in the time in between the fedual era and 'now'.
