I love fics with one or two of the guys as kids, and this is a neat way to approach the idea. Ezra and Vin always make for a fun combination, and they're portrayed as being resourceful enough to manage on the streets in a way that some of the other characters might not be able to. Your story is great, and very well written, but I wonder if maybe you haven't made life too easy for them, as far as all that adult help goes?
