Wow, I'm really impressed. This story is very, very good. Interesting to see Boots in such a strong role, ususally he seems to be an afterthought. Please update this one, it's awesome!

Hiya. This is great! despite the fact that you're challenging me for the 'procrastination of updating' award. (I have a story i haven't updated since...June...in 2002. but i took it off. ANYway. Back at the ranch, which has an extremely funny story behind it BUT I promise, I have a point.

And it is the fact that i love Dutchy, and this story...Almost as much as dutchy, which is scary. Don't you just love those pointless reviews that have no point yet still seem to have a point while being completly random? Okay, back at the ranch, again. this is really good and you must update! or i will send a rabid...Snyder out to get you and bring you to the refuge to make you write i hate newsies on the board 100 times, because i'm so evil.

(Actually, I was made to write 'i hate newsies' on a board 50 times once, cause i wouldn't stop talking about it...during math class. twas the most horrible experience in my entire life.)

OMG! EEP! I so love the idea of this...I can't wait for more and am reading madly to catch up on all you have written. I'm rarely excited to read something purely on the short prologue but your style and voice are amazing and I'm sure it's going to be enjoyable to read.

SO Boot's wife is gonna have a baby...or is she?! It's sounds like she's having a very late-term miscarriage. That would be mucho terrible. Those suck. Not that I know from personal experience, cuz God himself is going to run for cover when I start having kids, but I've heard the stories. Nasty lil buggers they are. They can tear a family apart. Not that that's even what you're writing about. I'm just...commenting...

I like this chapter! I's gonna be so hard for me reading the first few chapters, just to aquaint myself with all the names and lands and such. Consider this your fair warning that "that place", "that girl", and "thingamabob" are all fair game until at least chapter four. ;-)
