Great story! I loved "A Room.." and I love this one even more I think.

it was highly engaging, though i was a little confused at the start when i was reading it like someone had written an autobiography and then it turned to a narrative. either way, i figured it out and its alright though i can't really see the purpose of it.
i liked how you included the... poems at the start of each chapter. did you make them up? if not could you tell me who wrote them and/or where they came from?

i greatly appreciate the time and effort you put in to writng this.

damn brilliant! the letters were so ... intriguing and full of tension. delicately written, too, and very much in character. really good!

Oh! This is so sweet! It's the happiest V/M I've ever read, it's lovely and sweet and adorable... and its plot, though brief, is satisfying. And there's hope for them forever. I loved it.

Whew... I just read the last 3 chapters all in one swell foop; I think I need a sobriety pill. How very... Vetinari-ish, to end like that; 'governance.' Self-control is where one finds it, I suppose, and it seems his takes strength from recognizing the same in Margolotta.

Whew again. This one was gorgeous, and it made me do more than a bit of mental exercise. Do you know, my own fics move better and faster when I have good ones to read, even though there's a world of difference between the Discworld and anime? **Ysabet pictures a Detective Conan/Discworld crossover and shudders in horror** Thanks for the writing, thanks for the story, and thanks for making me think!

I think this fic was one of the best I've read so far. You manage to write about Vetinari as a human being, with out losing the essence of his character.

Fantastic! The way you've written the characters isn't always the same way they appear in my head, but it's all so plausable I can't help being completely swept into the story, until I have to wait for the next chapter to load. Thanks to your story, I'm at the risk of spending exam week searching for more of your work :)

I thought Margolotta's Bunnicula pajamas added a nice touch of comic relief to a rather dark chapter, I'm anxiously awaiting the next chapter!

By the way, am I the only one who thinks that Marglotta with the pajamas would make a great piece of fanart? *releases art-bunny into the wild*

Another good chapter, I paticularly liked the bit with the cats eyes, and the conversation at the end.

I love this story. Vetinari is exactly right. Very few other peaple make him as real as Mr Pratchett does. Please continue...
