Normally I would do a fic review. It is rare that I would pick on someone's critique, but in this case, I am making an exception.
aragonvaar... the author has actually seen the show, while you base the OOCness of a character on a synopsis and a bunch of people's interpretations. How exactly can you comment on a character's OOC when you haven't even seen the series from start to finish? Until you've seen Emily for yourself, especially to the very end, I'd not even say anything about her interpretation.
Overall, I have also not seen ZZ, but Sporky's writing has always been beautiful. Just keep up the good work.

Hmm, well, I only know Emily (some subbers call her Emory...maybe because she's so abrasive? :D) from ZZ synopses, so I can't comment very much on overall OOC-ness. But my impression from people's descriptions was that, uh, he didn't want her and even she wasn't quite delusional enough to think that he did. Mind, the idea he is attracted to her at some level, but his cast-gundarium willpower and code of ethics prevent him from acting on that attraction certainly reflects well on Bright.
Basically, I liked the story anyway, despite my unfamiliarity w/ the character. I can certainly identify w/ Emily's taste in men ;) and you write the angst, the self-pity kind of skittering all over the place, stuff quite well.

Very nice. I have never seen Emily Ounce, because I gave up on ZZ, but I just enjoyed the ficlet for what it was.

Very nicely written, especially since you don't really like Emily. Once again, you've written a great story from the character's POV.

Katie, that was absolutely brilliant, especially if you can write beautifully regarding someone you don't fancy! Very good first-person you have here. ^^

A very nice ZZ vignette, and the fact that it focuses around a secondary character only adds to it. Emily's doomed crush for Bright sure sets up a very nice opportunity for an angsty fic, and you made good use of it!

A very nice fanfiction, especially considering that you don't like ZZ. That's the sign of a good author.

From the few ZZ parts I've seen, this could be the Emily of the last episodes, where she's shown in a sorta different light... So, it's not THAT ooc, don't worry. And needless to say, I loved it. :)
