I came over to read some of your fics and i think this is heartwrenchingly beautiful. I love the look at Irina as a human woman, real and fallible. well done!

will Irina go back to Jack and sydney? Will thaey ever know about the Laura's existance

While reading this, part of what Irina said to Sydney on the roof in 2.10 'The Abduction,' sprang to mind: "I was a fool to think that any ideology could come before my daughter." With Irina having such loving tendencies towards young Sydney (as well as with Jack) in this story, then countering her actions by trying to convince herself that the United States was the enemy, it totally played on that quote.

I loved how you wrote this, it was just completely gorgeous and the way you looked into Irina's mind, then looked into her daughter Laura's mind was just amazing.

The parallels with the hair of Irina, Sydney, and Laura were great too, as if it ever could be said that they had something in common, despite everything that would (and had) happened, that would be it.

Beautiful job, wonderfully written.
