seriously, I looved your story! I mean I love Jean and Scott, and you didn't just make this into one big fluff piece, which was real nice! the whole shared nightmares thing? awesome!--also, I haven't delved that deep into X-Men fanfic yet, but so far I haven't come across any that'd made me think *aw, all been done before* when reading your story :D

Well, it's about time! I guess it was sheer luck that I visited the evolution section today and found your story after I had started reading it a long, long time ago! I reread the whole story again and I enjoyed every minute of it!! You have the characters down so well. This is one of the better stories about Jean and Scott's relationship before everyone else joined the mansion! :) I love it! And, I pray that this time you won't take such a long time to update!! This is among the best Evo fics I've read. It's a nuanced and realistic exploration of the characters, without relying heavily on fanon cliches. I particularly like the fact that the characters are flawed, yet not unsympathetic.

I look forward to seeing where you take this story!
