Great story Syl! I'm just now getting to read it. As much of the fanfic I write is set just prior and during the war, I wanted to make a point to read this. Very good.

This was one of the best stories I have ever read. The action sequences were exciting, the plot was in true cliff-hanger tradition, and the historical accuracy was dead on. Very impressive!

I loved the pre-WWII setting! Also the characterizations came across a bit more innocent, not quite so dark, especially Batman. He acted like he had feelings!:)

A nice Elseworlds of a more innocent time. Good Guys vs Recognizable Bad Guys is something that just doesn't seem to exist in the comics any more. Nice job.

It was good, though you know my pref is for father/son angst : I did like that you had Eleanor Roosevelt in it just because she and I share our birthday and kudos to Dicky for sabotaging the sub!

I normally don't read Batman or Nightwing fics, but the subject for this one intrigued me, so I started reading. I write fic for a tv show set in WWII, so nearly anything on the subject is interesting. I enjoyed this fic very much...and even if I find it a little hard to believe a 10 year old could do half of what he did in the story...it was very well written and flowed quite nicely. I really enjoyed it.
