Er... Wow. You leave unanswered as many questions as you answer, not sure how I feel about that. Also not sure about the story rating - a bit heavy for the younger set, maybe. Nevertheless, I'm really impressed.

Interesting tale. Funny and sad at once. Especially the ending, which was also startlingly but appropriately abrupt. I like the way there are allusions rather than full explanations and blunt descriptions. Excellent writing.

LOL! that was a really great start - I can fully imagine good old severus saying all that stuff - and can only guess whats being said at the other end of the line! lol - just think of the expression on his face!

Oh, please do at some point! I really want to know what happened to Sil! It's amazing how much of a plot you have managed to get across from one side of a telephone call.

I was quite impressed by this one; an original idea, the way you presented it. I'd like to know though, about how long a period of time did you have in mind for each ... on a new line? It would make it clearer on how much the counsellor is speaking (or laughing). I certainly wouldn't mind seeing you develop this further, although it might be nice now to return to a more familiar format which allows us to hear more than one side of a conversation, say a conversation between Severus and Minerva. ;)

Funny, and VERY touching - please continue (I get the most pleasant surprises when I read the stories from the people who review me!)

Since I liked this so much, my first reaction would be a "Yes! Please! Write another one!" BUT... This piece seemed to end in such a way that it can be considered quite complete on its own. What has not directly been revealed, it is possible to guess at, and I agree that the hinting really preserves the quality of a phone conversation. It was a lot of fun to read through and see the puzzle pieces fit together into a sort of impressionist landscape of a picture of Severus' youth: it's not excessively detailed, as it would be in a straight-out story, but it is more satisfying than many (or most?) of that sort. You are guaranteed a lot of readers if you write another part (therefor, "worth it"), but this one alone was very satisfying. Don't know if I've helped at all, but I just had to say what I thought about this story!

This is awsome. Poor Snape! And Sil. What ever happened to Sil! A sequel sounds delightful, I hope you continue. :)
