Iv'e never read a fic by anyone who wrote with such technique and good grasp on the original story. You completely get the tone and attitude of Jack (or whatever you want to call him) without having to recall the old cliches from the movie like most do (so they don't have to come up with something of thier own). I have no criticism and hope you keep going with this :)

Wow. This is really really true to the movie's tone. "Jack" at his finest. It's got the sardonic, pissy attitude, mixed with some humour (the line "To honor him, we burn gifts beneath the tree. We also burn the tree" cracked me up). Great job.
