...aw, that's such a better- hey, WAIT a minute! No, no the Ellimist DIDN'T keep his promise! Wasn't it that Tobias was to help free those hork-bajir, and his human form wld b restored 2 him, but instead he got 2 acquire himself! That's not rite! They were all griping about how much of a gipp that was! That's NOT keeping the promise at all! No!

~regains composure~ But anyway. I love how you did this, the emotion, the boy sobbing in a tangled heap with his not-girlfriend in the dirt, the being mesmerised at his finger... Lovely. So, now all that has to b done is the "i'll visit you" scene, rite? It wld b so convenient if u cld tack on an animorphs-related plot 2 this 2 keep it running... but how cld it possibly fit? Maybe u cn run Tobias' rehumanising as a sidebar 2 some yeerky thing... I don't know. Contrariwise, it's often wisest 2 let sumthing that works so well b left in exquisite brevity... all 'what if's left dangling, but nothing to spoil it by going on too much - AFTER the visiting scene, of course!

Bravo. Ever since Rachel was killed off the T&R department has been somewhat lacking, save those greif-stricken reminiscing fics, and those, "Lookit, I'm not dead now cozza this!" ones. Ugh.
