That's so dark and depressing, like he has suppressed his emotions so far as to not even know they exist. It's saddening.

Is Legato supposed to feel dead? The narrative is so detached, like he is uncionscious of his humanity, and is only a machine. I think you did it intentionally, and I like the effect.

I actually read this a while ago and I really liked it. You've got the characters down well, I particualy liked the angle of Midvalley. I mean, I read this a few weeks back and the ending still stuck with me. It has a lovelry sense of tradgedy, you do the interaction between the Gung Ho Guns very well. Yes, I like this story very much, it stuck with me which shows how origional it is. Are you going to write more Trigun? I hope so!

Lovely story. At once cynical and sentimental, just how I like them, with some beautiful twists of phrase.

Plus, you've got real guts in my book for writing Legato's POV. (And doing a wonderful job of it, I might add.)

I like a lot, very short and 'sweet' in a way. I always love authors prying into the mind of Legato and other such complicated characters.

'Law of Desire' is next on my list. :)

This fic rocks my socks. It is fabulous. In so few words, you've completely captured the essence of Legato and why he just is not at all like normal human beings, and I don't mean physically. I could gush for a long time over the excellent fuckeduppedness of this story, but instead I'll send a bucket o'praise your way and hope for more from you in the future.

Legato and Dominique's relationship has always been facinating to me. There's nothing there in the anime really, but in the manga we get to see Dominique throw herself off a building rather than face Legato in defeat. She basically hero-worships him. I'm not even going to try to dredge up the parallels between Dominique's adoration of Legato and Legato's feelings for Knives...my brain hurts enough already. You know...that would make a cool fic...
