This is very moving. It's easy to understand how Luke could be drawn in by his father - it's in the reach of his hand, to have a parent that cares for him, he only has to accept it. Dangerously simple.

This is a wonderful story. You've wrote a while ago...
Where is part 2? It is so good that is a shame to let
end...are you still writing? If you are, you must continue this story...it is very intense...
I hope you consider continuing...it is a masterpiece!

Wonderful piece! I'm always on the lookout for fiction that treats the
Star Wars characters as human beings and makes them deal with realistic
situations and emotions. This author's done very well with both Luke and
Vader, making their actions and thoughts consistent with the characters
we see in the films, but also making them three-dimensional. It's especially
nice to see Vader as a complex character, rather than being completely good
when he's Anakin Skywalker and completely bad when he's Vader. Nice to see him
as a realistic combination of both. Well done, and thank you for writing this!

Interesting that Luke actually resorted to use the Dark Side, but besides that, I thought it was great. Especially when Vader was getting all father-like.

I especially liked the way you had Obi-wan dying in sight of Luke put in a different light. He can certainly be seen as the cunning one, that crazy old wizard!

I read this a while back at Corellian Embassy and I have to say...it's still one of best stories of all times. I love Luke and Vader stories that explore thier relationship (which you both do wonderfully). Han was fantastic to. Just an all around GREAT story!!
