I doubt you plan on updating this anytime soon, as its been years since you've touched this story, but I want you to know that it, as with its prequel story, are amazing. I doubt there's anything I could do to get you to start up on this again, but please take note that I have enjoyed these stories quite a lot.

Maybe you should be a little bit more careful with the editing~ Don't make the paragraphs too long, and the gap between them too big ^^
It makes it more disturbing to read, especially on the computer (wouldn't be as bad on paper)...
Soujiro could see immediately that she'd been fighting, so Kenshin should be able to see that in kaoru too, right? Since Kaoru is a terribly liar, or terrible at hiding things, she should be even easier to read ^_^
I have always liked your action scenes, and I do hope that there'll be more of them later ^^ I really liked that scene with Saitoh~~ ^^
However, I am a bit surprised that Saitoh alerted him with showing him such a strong battle aura~
but then again, we're talking about someone who's not as good as Soujiro in hiding, right??^^ Hahaha~~
oh well~hope to see more soon ^^
And by writing such chapters, you're excused from such a slow update ^^
