I loved that poem... it really sounded like something Legolas would write. Great word choice and usage (not that I would know much about that kinda thing) but I really enjoyed it... in a kind of heart-throbbing, sad way.

This is beautiful. I really liked how you expressed that though Legolas is "no stranger to leave-taking" Gandalf's death affected him deeply. And I also liked how you conveyed his sadness, that though we may not see it, he is hurting. I especially liked the fifth verse, I've never thought of crying as a "blessed release" but on further thought, I realised that it is. Keep writing :)

Very, very nicely done. Glad you finally decided to change your mind abt writing LotR stories. Very, very sad. Espesially love the last two paragraphs. Poor Legolas. You can see (in the movie) that he is devestated, but wont show it. Well done.
