You don't have nearly enough reviews for these two gems. I absolutely adore the way these two pieces centre around separate stories and different characters and yet tie together so beautiful. Anyways. I've said my bit, and now must stop procrastinating (as enjoyable as it was!) and get to writing my paper...

Wow. Just... wow. Maybe by the time I read the story after this, I'll be somewhat coherent in the review.

I loved Draco's sly compliments of Potter, Snape's protective streak, the beautiful lead-up to an ice dragon, and still love New Zealand. I adored Helen and the Ice Man storyline, and for Christmas I'd like to meet a pooka. Or Helen. Everything fits together perfectly, the dialogue is wonderful, the descriptions are perfect, and I will happily re-read these stories.

Well done, well done. I even cried in some places. It's good that Sevie has protectors.

I'm not sure how the review system works here, so I'll be saying this a few times over:
You are an absolutely stunning writer. It's fantastic to see such brilliant prose coming from someone from the same end of the world (I'm a Tasmanian). All praise and glory to you, Elsa2. Taniwha was one of the best fanfiction I've ever read, and going by the first chapter, Chrysalis will not dissapoint.
Also, your adherance to the laws of good spelling and grammar are a joy to behold, and would gladden the heart of any editor.

So the Malfoys have to steal other people's babys (dickless wonders, huh ... looks like Lucius stole the wrong one to get his heir. Ice Dragon ... Hee Hee.

Such a nice twisty plot. I loved the epilogue - poor little man just doesn't know when to let well enough alone. Though I do wish we knew if Draco ever remembers who he was as a human. I think a dragon with his personality and sense of humor would be a scream - especially now that he was learning to be a pretty good person.

I'm still enjoying it, though. I do wish Harry and Draco could get along better, but not because it's in character... more because I liked that Harry was one of the main characters in the previous arc, and I wanted it to stay that way.

Can't wait to see where Draco's ended up!

I have found the sequels so I will follow them and maybe see some more of the developments since I was so disappointed in the outcome of the first story (although it was good and since I am not familiar with New Zealand it did hold my interest quite will until I was disappointed at the end. I am glad Snape wil be back at Hogwarts though but not so much into Helen. I still do not believe she will be right for him. She was a bird and as such will want to wander.) However I will continue to follow both sequels even though Draco is not my favorite character but I realize it would be better to read them in order. All my stories need to be followed that way to be properly understood. So I look forward to finding out what happens from here out. Esined

A very interesting and skillfully executed plot. The descritptions of Draco's emerging Ice Dragon were believable and mysteriously described just enough to keep us guessing.

Wow, what a finale. Great story! So Draco is an Ice-Dragon now. Did Sev know about what Draco really was? There is only one thing I wonder, how did Lucius Malfoy manage to travel so many years back in time without a pooka? And why did he do so, just to kill Sev before he was born? Or did I get something wrong? Time travel always is kind of confusing ...
