 OutlawEris 2005-07-06 . chapter 1Freaking pop-ups.
Anyhoot, this was a verily cool poem. I had to read "To Kill a Mockingbird" a while ago, and though it wasn't one of my faves, I liked it well enough for a school book. But what poem did you base this on? It got cut off in the summary, and I am interested to see the original. Please? ;-)
But I'm jealous. I had to make a Finch family scrapbook for my "To Kill a Mockingbird" project. It was a pain in the kisser.
Anyhoot, loverly poem!

iamnothere007 2003-11-26 . chapter 1i've read (and analyzed to hell and back for lit class) lucille clifton's poem as well as tkam...to me, the only thing i didn't like about this is it was almost too close to the format of "miss rosie." i think it was beautifully done but it would have had more impact if i couldn't see the other poem so much in it. |
Harmonic Friction 2003-11-04 . chapter 1This is a very good poem. It captures a picture of the character very well- I can just imagine her out on her porch right this minute! I like how you repeated 'you were strong', because she definitely was. |
SethGreenLover1906 2003-06-08 . chapter 1The first one was short, yet informative... and the second one was very descriptive and cool! Yay! |
 dragon dreamer3 2003-05-08 . chapter 1Dear Ananda,
Wow!It was interesting, and showed Mrs Dubose in prehaps a negitive light yet I've never read anything or any poem for that matter in that format. |
