Any "technical glitches" can easily be forgiven, since all of Ducky's quirks hadn't been mentioned let alone established (e.g. where he lives). Beyond that I can't find a complaint. This was well paced, well plotted and you nailed the characterizations. As mentioned by someone else, I could hear Ducky's voice throughout.

And I *love* the idea of Ducky getting together with Catherine from CSI. That would be worth a vignette if nothing else. :-)

So glad that ff has an archive going back to the Dark Ages, else this would have disappeared into the ethernet.

Excellent! Yes, Loren could use a friend. She was her own worst enemy. Many people tried to befriend her but she just sniped them away. I, too, would like to have found out who the father of her child was.

Whew! Superb Story! I really love it! I never liked Singer either but you have given her a humanity she needed. Thank you very much. She & Webb would have made a good pair and this explains his getting together with Mac as well.

I was getting a bit frustrated with ff.net... jsut too many bad stories here. then I started reading the loner ones I haden't read yet... and this one really is a gem.

Wow. Great story! Excellent characterization of Ducky, especially looking back now after getting to know him better. Surprise ending, for sure, and I can't say that I exactly see that happening, but you made it work. Kudos, and keep up the good work. One last note: I could actually hear Ducky reading this, like his thoughts, you know? That takes skill. Good job!

So was not expecting Webb. Crazy stuff but good, very good.
