Aw! A sad yet happy ending at the same time! WOW! You know, your story was already very very good, but this twist made it so much better! I like this ending better than if the madoushi had been behind it.
I guessed that Shy, etc. had Dilandau's best interests at heart, but I NEVER remotely guessed that the DS and Folken and everyone else was behind it all. That was an AWESOME twist! WOW!
So...are...you ending it here? How about an epilogue (not how or when Dilandau dies, but a little about the next day)...or better yet, another chapter, showing the thoughts of Dilandau, Serena, and Van and such? Van wasn't in here all that much. Just a little bit more...? *pleads*

So Miguel wasn't evil after all? Damn... (wonder if they'll give me a refund on this damn proton pack...). Aww that was sweet, I liked that ending. The Dragonslayers will forever protect Dilandau, even after death and rebirth. I think its cool none of them seem jealous that he got a chance to be reborn. I liked Folken's reasons for helping too, and Zongi's (he wasn't all that bad of a guy...shouldn't have killed Miguel like that though, that was cold). Anyways, thanks for the great endings. So many stories have started out so great, carry a wonderful plot on its shoulders to where you can't stop reading it if you tried, and then FLOP on the ending. Makes you hate the entire story after that, and get mad cause you wasted so much time reading it. :) Beautiful story all the way through, and I will be rereading it soon :)

Oh yes, shocked indeed. I think you made the right desision to take out that scene, although, I like the Ravi part too.

Aw! That's cute! I do like this chapter, how you've pulled things together to make so much sence. I was confused why Chesta get's to be taller than Dilandau, since he was the shortest in the series... next to Viole... but that's such a little thing, it only bothered me for a moment.

Oh I want to clear up something in my review for chapter 19. When I said "long, oh-so-enjoyable story", I really meant that it was enjoyable and I appreciate that it's long too. And I was going to say that I like all the other chapters but TWO are my most favourite. I thought I should make it clear b/c when I read it again after I send it to you, it sounded sarcastic(to me) for some reason. ^^;;

I'm so glad that you have time on your hands to write this. I'm very impressed with your persistence to finish this fic. There are so many abandoned, GOOD and INTERESTING Esca fics, that it's so not funny.*applauds you* ^_^

I like how you finally decided to explain to us -some- of the hints. I really didn't see it at the time. But it's probably b/c I didn't pay too much close attention to those creepy sorcerers(I thought they were at the time). I didn't like their scenes b/c I thought they were out to hurt Dilandau again. I probably should have though.

...So...Is this it? The epilogue, I mean. I thought it would be something to show us what happened to Dilandau afterward. But if chapter 19 was the end of the story, it's a very beautiful ending nonetheless. I love the last sentence of that chapter from Dilandau very much. It fills me full with hope for Dilandau's future. ^_^ Hmm...Perhaps it would be best to leave it like that...

First off, a comment on the last chapter I forgot to write in my review: "I have it in me so much nearer home/To scare myself with my own desert places"...that sums up Dilandau SO perfectly. It's just *right*.

The scene with Van and Folken, and Folken's wings...and white feathers...and forgiveness...AW! I almost cried! It was another moment that just *worked*. Wow.

Okay, when the jury comes in, my heart was in my throat, literally. I KNOW the verdict would be not guilty, but I very seriously thought for a moment that they were going to say "guilty".

I can't wait for the next chapter! The sentencing is done by the judge, and we know who the judge is...
