I loved Giles' fatheryness, that's just how it should always be. He's such a good dad for all the scoobies. I wish they'd shown Anya comforting him too... After re-watching Season 2 recently, and then watching "Dirty Girls", I was thinking to myself that this season could be salvaged if the writers would only include a small scene where Giles sat alone at Xander's bedside and told him that he was proud of him. Thanks for remembering two oft-neglected characters and for writing them subtly and humorously. |
