SiriousB1 2004-06-25 . chapter 1An excellent job on using Dominique's character. There aren't many stories about her because she is so complex, but you did a wonderful job. You have some of the best word choice that I have ever seen! And your ending is absolutely memorable. Keep writing excellent stories such as these. |
 Senko Wakimarin 2004-06-03 . chapter 1dats sad... |
puddingpie 2004-03-26 . chapter 1 I reread this after realizing who was talking (it took me long enough) and my jaw dropped as I realized what was happening at the end. That was a stroke of genius. |
 Raindog Bride 2003-12-21 . chapter 1Ach.
I went over and reread your work, it reached me as always. Deep, descriptive, painful stuff.
You're right about the trigun fanfics... I don't understand why most of it is so...bad. Childish swift-paced crap with no plotlines and butchered beloved characters. I've left a few enraged reviews for it, too... eheh.
Anyway, as always, I adore your work, as it's the only good trigun fanfiction I can find. The ONLY. That's sad... what has happened to humanity.
Gomen for the long review... |
millyfan 2003-10-02 . chapter 1This is great. . .and I agree. Mary Sues are stupid, worthless spamfic.
I wish there would be a subcategory for all Mary Sue fics, so such self-indulgent tripe would have a section of its own that could be easily avoided, and where it wouldn't send other, better fics to the back pages. . . |
Tessa Marlene 2003-09-27 . chapter 1 Great, beautiful. Especially the last line. You are one of my favorite Trigun writers. |
 vethia 2003-09-06 . chapter 1beautiful.
i'm sure you can guess my favourite part.
other than that, i have always been a sucker for pieces which use a repeated theme such as your dodging references. those were quite well done. |
Kagura 2003-06-02 . chapter 1 This is a really well-written, unique fanfiction. It gives a whole new dimension to Dominique! Great job, I love it! *thumbs up* |
Falstaff 2003-05-28 . chapter 1M... good story. Just the right blend of cynecism and sentimentality; I like that. |
NosSeratu 2003-05-10 . chapter 1 Excellent! This is wonderfully written. I especially like the last line! |
dragon88 2003-05-07 . chapter 1 wow, that was beautiful. I had tears in my eyes, and with every word that I read, it made me think of my own stories... I read it two more times before this review, imagining Legato instead, and it being Knives, I know that does take a bit of work to see, and some rephrasing of manythings, but it is quite interesting. I really enjoyed it. |
Kyoko 2003-05-07 . chapter 1 I must say, that was interesting—a little perplexing at certain areas, but interesting nonetheless. I have to agree with your displeasure at the Mary Sue fanfictions, I utterly loathe those “writings”—I should be shot for even give them the pride of being called writing. I probably should also inform you that I enjoy your Millions Knives/Legato Bluesummers stories. |
Mangolia-kiss 2003-05-07 . chapter 1Woah, what is Domineque talking about in the last part? But this is to cool! Maybe, you can write another chapter saying what shes talking about in the last part. |
Irena K 2003-05-07 . chapter 1How very nice to see Dominique in a fic once more, even if she isn't hooked up with Midvalley. ^^
Good, quiet contemplation on both Dom and Legato with the dodging metaphor fitting Dom's personality near perfectly. Well done. |
Ann V. 2003-05-06 . chapter 1 O... sparkly. Okay not really sparkly but good. Absolutely utterly just right. It's all the write words to sum up Domi. We love her we really do but she just can't win. Not that Legato can either. Trigun is just messed up.
Oh and if I am the origin of all grace in your life I fear for your life. ::proceeds to trip and fall down the stairs on nose:: Ow.
Also all future reviewers better review and they better be nice! Or I sic my scary legions of lime-jello loving shakesperean actors on y'all.
Eternal Pain and Suffering,
A.V.
