Usually I don't write reviews for stories that are really old. First of all, because it feels weird, and second of all, because usually the author isn't active anymore and probably could care less. I felt that I had to do so after reading this story, however.

I don't know why I was in a Gilmore Girls mood today, but I was, and I'm so glad that I read this story. The banter was spot-on; it was humorous, but with that touch of seriousness underlying it and with the connection between the two very palpable. It read like a conversation that really could have happened in the first seasons of Gilmore Girls. (I just wish that seasons 4-7 1/2 (the end of 7 was okay) were like that.) Thanks for an enjoyable read and for brightening my day. :)

So adorable, I absolutely loved it. You write their characters so well, especially the witty, funny banter!! I loved how they kept teasing each other about using big words so early in the morning! Hehe. You should totally write a sequel to this were they do have to get married or something - that'd be so awesome. :)

*puts on smug Minkus voice* The Emancipation Proclamation didn't really end slavery, you know. It was an act of war, and Lincoln said that all the slaves in the Confederacy were free because of it. It freed no slaves in the border states, and it didn't really even work in the Confederacy anyway because it couldn't really be inforced.

This coming from me only because I just spent months digesting this information.
