Fantastic use of description and imagery. Liek the previous reviewers have stated, the story's language makes all the implications and assumes very little. It is very thoughtfully written and I very much enjoyed the tone.

Lastly, that parting image of the rose-colored glasses is very smart and creative. Nice job.

Now I like this one. i'm always such a sucker for Touga-Saionji fics and like how a lot of things are implied as opposed being clearly spelled out for the reader. It demands to be read again.

...ooh, ouch, I like the quiet dark corners of this story. It's short, bitterly sweet and carefully crafted. It's probably one of the better "Utena" fics in a while, simply because it's got the odd nuances that make it seem like the series itself. I really enjoyed this little snapshot of not only Touga and Saionji's friendship, but the key differences in their lives that lead them to become the people they were in the series itself.
