You know I've read that introduction like twenty times this year. It's just SO good.

This was a very well researched and completely captivating work. While chapter 3 certainly ends, I do hope there is more to come. If it is to be continued (after an apparent three year hiatus), the only thing I could hope for is some more diversity between the Gelfling characters - Sara and Raven are individuals, the rest seem to blend in with the background. There are very few Dark Crystal fanfics, and even fewer ones with any merit. I hope this continues. Favorited.

I'm glad you guys are getting a kick out of it. I'll keep each part coming as soon as humanly possible.
As to sources--with any fic--it's just a blend of what I already know/want to see/and very handy sources like "The World of the Dark Crystal" that let me flesh out details and give me a rough direction.
