Suffering Angel 2005-10-26 ch 1,	abuseFirst of all I'll be random and wonder why so many people asked about Zoro in their reviews. At this point Zoro was either walking around barefoot and topless, freezing yet hardly dying, or already with Ussop and Vivi. o.o you mentioned the time period, hasn't anybody noticed? Second. Bravo. In all the meaning of the word. I for one believe strongly in Luffy angst, as unless the character is horribly made, or has had some great event happen in its history, which as far as I know, Luffy didn't, no one, NO ONE, can be that happy and apparently carefree without at least an ounce of angst and darkness. At least one 'What If', and as far as Luffy's concerned there're a dozen of those. What if he hadn't eaten the fruit. What if Shanks hadn't have lost his arm. What if he hadn't have met his current nakama, or met them in different times on different occassions. Point is the Luffy of the start of the show is different than the Luffy at the deeper parts of the show, and it's as though he's gotten dumber to cover up the deeper hurt he's feeling. From a saying, 'I want to become the Pirate King', it had turned into a dream he now has to make a reality for more than his own sake. Other people are depandent on him and the Luffy at the begining might not have been prepared for that. Ironic then that his first nakama was Zoro, who, in my opinion, is the one most devoted to him, especially if you compare him with Chopper, for instance (see filler(?) eppie during Arabasta saga when Zoro and Chopper are wondering in the desert and Chopper asks Zoro about Luffy and their journey so far). I don't think Luffy understands himself exactly how he should feel, and you portrayed it beautifully. Hope to dig up more work from you in my One Piece Hunt :)

The Grim Wombat 2003-09-02 ch 1,	abuseGyah! You made Luffy angsty and it worked! O_O I must say, I'm impressed. I love the style that you wrote this in, and the story itself is very very good. My one comment (not your fault) is that the formatting's a bit odd. I think something happened when it was being uploaded. Anyway, regardless, amazing job. Kudos to you on this.

starah 2003-05-17 ch 1,	abuseLuffy is one of the hardest characters to write with, and I commend you for your effort. It's very well written, and it really did put some considerations into perspective... I guess I like your style and what you've written, but I can't find it plausible because Luffy doesn't think this way. But well-written anyway. Very angsty. o.o; And I love Luffy, so I love you for trying to get into him unfathomable head. XD
