I read some of this story in an old edition of the Beta Reader's Inbox, and had to come check out the full version. I want to compliment you on your excellent characterization. Doyle was probably one of my favorite characters on either Buffy or Angel, and I was deeply saddened that he was not on more of the show. Your depiction of him, and of Harry, was dead-on. The dialogue was very realistic, both true to the characters and true to life. Tara, you're a very talented writer, and I can't wait to read more of your work.
