An interesting twist on how the show could have ended. I'm curious if you wrote this before you saw all of the Kyoto arc? Anyway, it's nicely written and definitely original!

Awesome...I almost cried. Thank goodness this never happened. IT WAS SO SAD. Plus, I just got done reading vol. 7 of Rurouni Kenshin (the magna) and that one ends with kenshin leaving so I could really see thins. But, of corse, I've also seen this show on T.V. and know what actully happened...but still...it was sad

This fic was truly great... It was nice that you combined Sano/Kaoru and Kenshin/Kaoru and all, but I wish you'd make a Sano/Kaoru that stands alone. There aren't many and I like the pairing.*_* Anyways, you don't have to if you don't feel comfortable making one. I'm just giving a suggestion. Good luck with your other fics!^^

HECK yes, there's interest! Please post the next chapter! I don't have time to do an in-depth review right now, but I really really want to see the second chapter. Hopefully by the time you post it I'll have time to do a proper review.
In any case, I just want to politely point out that you have some spelling errors in the names and stuff. It's Kaoru, not Karou; Yahiko, not Yahito; Sagara, not Sarga; and it's katana, not katakana. But anyway, those are just minor errors that don't really affect the good quality of the story.
In any case, till you post the next chapter, ja ne!
