Well BAH! Hated the ending! I thought that she would at least stay and put up with everything and finally tell Ace the truth and then Ace would've gotten rid of Jon...but no. Oh well...I still liked your story though. :)(:

I actually have the book, but i think some of yours is correct. In my book Chris has the gun too, and he does say something about breaking his arms. Do you have the Stand By Me DVD. If not i reccommend getting it, and watching the interview thing with stephen king, Rob Reiner, Kiefer Sutherland, etc. It explains how the director (Rob Reiner) and Stephen King had different opinions on who the hero of the story should be. Stephen thought it should be Chris, and Rob thought it should be Gordie. As for spelling Lachance wrong, i don't know. You could try barnesandnoble.com and maybe it'll be a different copy. hope i could help...and sorry this was so long!
