I am very impressed with this, and while I wish it was a little less open-ended (but that's because I'm nosy and want to know every scrap of detail that might have happened), I thought the style and the writing were incredible.

An interesting plot. It leaves me wanting for more...

I have read every one of your fics and I just love them. I get so drawn into the story that I hate it when it is over. This story I just read and even though you made it a one shot and it was a long time ago... I can't help but wonder if you ever wanted tomake more chapters. I really want to know if Ami finds out about that night and if they ever got together. Or if you are thinking of writing any more fan fics?

I remember reading this story eons ago (ok just a yr ago) & not making a review, I figure it was 'cuz basically nothing i can write will tell you how good it is. Though I was sure to put it on my favorites list. I can honestly tell you this story has been on my mind since that day, the question always coming back to me: How did they work out? did they even get to try somehow? the questions even came after I forgot that it was a fic & all I had was the idea of the circumstances Mako was going thru.
Tonight I tried to find some ami/mako fics on the net that i haven't read (there r none). Then I remembered your great plot for "Dreams" & wanted to read it again. Figured I must have put that in my favorites. I DID :-).

God, this is a great story! One of my favorites if I do say so myself I really hope you choose to continue this sometime in the near future. Only other things to say...it's great and I LOVE it!
