This is by far one of the best J/H stories I've ever read. And trust me, I've read ALOT.

Your characterization of them is just PERFECT. Really, you understand each of them so well and how they are with one another. I love Hyde's romantic gesture and Jackie making him pay. This was such a beautiful fic to read. I adore it.

Being totally oblivious to what fanfic was until about a week ago, and upon searching for anything that had even remotely mentioned the J/H coupling, I found this site...then I read this...and OMG!

I read it twice, logged off my pc, logged back on and read it again. It just makes me fall in love with them even more then I already am. *Hearts twinkling in dreamy eyes*

Can I just say how much I loved that. Poor lovesick Hyde. It's too cute, and sweet and everything Hyde would hate, and I loved it crazy madly.

This has got to be one of the best J/H fics I've read. Ever. I'm so horribly disappointed that all the great writers for this couple don't have any more for desperate readers for actual *good* fic to read. (epitome of run on sentences, yes that's me.) I was going to quote some of the lines back to you but I can't pick one, the whole story was, and I mean this quite literally, perfection. Not one flaw and I'm so glad I found it. There's been a drought with the Jackie/Hyde stories that are actually written well and have emotion and capture the characters so exact as this one did. Just wanted to let you know this was excellent and I'll probably re-read it a gazillion times. :p

I got the sneak preview on this one, so, in seeing that you posted it, this is probably the fourth or fifth time that I've read it... and I still absolutely adore it.

For your first time in handling the characters, you were exceptional. You were beyond exceptional. You were better than the actual writers in Celebration Day.

Hyde! He had balls! He was manly! It was so sexy! I can't even begin to tell you how much I appreciate a Hyde that follows through on these aspects of his personality. You did a great job of finding that balance of where he's in love and he's willing to fight for that love, but he's also never been in this position before and he has no idea what he's doing. And his rants were amazing.

And then there was Jackie. She was spunky, and she had attitude, and there was a very specific thought process and motivation behind her actions. As good as a lot of the post break-up stories have been, I think that's something that has been lacking. You gave a beauitful picture of why her "I choose me" stance makes sense.

Lastly, in all of the humor and wonderful dialogue of the story, you didn't shy away from the seriousness of their break-up, Jackie's hurt over it, and Hyde's regret. There were actually a few parts in the story that had me rooting for Jackie to not take him back, and that made the ending all the more great.

Okay, I've seriously rambled here, so now I'm going to stop, but this was a wonderful first Jackie/Hyde story. I hope that in all of your other fandoms, you find the time to do another one really soon.
