Also, it seem it was Mystique who relayed her story of being attacked by a mob, if I'm not mistaken Kurt was also attacked by a mob of villagers... You reached parallelism on many different points, but that is one I didn't catch... Some of it is vague. However since it is an "atmospheric" piece centered on emotion, the distant tone is fine. I love the fight in the beginning (or, rather, 'play-fight') and then her realizing she's the mother. Though - am not entirely sure on her characterization. I always thought she would been a snot about it and not care, but. I don't really know the X-Men fandom as much as I would want to (I'm still slowly itching in). But I really enjoyed the fic nevertheless! Keep up the great work :). |
