That was absolutely ADORABLE. I loved when Spike said, "You wanna be my friend?" That just about broke my heart. You have got your characterizations down pat; Spike with his deep love for Buffy; Buffy with her unspoken whatever for Spike; their attraction and the whole vampire-slayer dilemma...you write so well! I'm looking forward to more of your fics, and continue to write more, even if you don't actually check your reviews since you published the story awhile ago and I found it when I was randomly wandering around ffnet.
