Kisa101 2007-11-16 ch 1,	abuseI just came across this and as I read it I must say that I agree with everything you mentioned. Despite what people say, I can never see Christianity as a religion. I've been through a lot...some things because God was testing me and others because well...sadly I got myself into them. However all of them has made me stronger and as I live my life and people ask me about my religion I always say, "I don't see it as a religion...it's my lifestyle." You did a great job on this even if it was simply your opinion. It placed a smile on my face. ~Kisa101~

Mercuria 2003-05-31 ch 1, anon.	abuseBlackflame, I am not certain as to what you have read, but in my translation of the Qu'ran, it says "God is closer to you than your jugular vein". (I cannot find the sura at the moment, so forgive me for not giving a chapter number.) Also, one of the almost completely universal Hindu beliefs is that we are all connected to each other and to the many gods and goddesses through Brahman, the Universal Soul. Worship of a personal god or goddess is encouraged as a means of personalizing Hinduism and making it more about a relationship. (That's in the Mahabarata ... excuse poor spelling.) ALSO (and I'm sure you're all pretty annoyed with me by now) Pure Land Buddhism (not the type of Buddhism I practice) holds that the only thing a person must do in this life is believe in Buddha as a Savior, and he/she will be sent to what I believe is something like the Western concept of Heaven. Actually, most religions encourage a relationship between god and worshipper. Such is my understanding, anyway.
Nervous Neuron 2003-05-30 ch 1,	abuseHm...I kinda like that ^,^ Christianity, to me, is like a way of life, a code of ethics, things like that. I don't really care to much if Jesus was the son of God or not, but what he preached was the important thing ^.^ He's right, if we also use the word of the lord, then our whole world will be saved. In other words, if everyone was nice, then the whole world would be nice, but I don't think that will happen in a while...and I believe the world has improved AD...we may say it hasn't, because there are wars, hunger, ect, but this is because Humanity is being negative about itself. I reckon it was way worse BCish time. It improves as we go on. Now, we debate the effects of capital punishment, but BC, they killed people willy nilly. Anyways, good job on presenting your views ^.^
