I really liked this, it showed alot of promise as a good story. I would very much like to read the rest of it. I couldn't really find anyting wrong with your story, there was enough background info so that I knew what was going on without draging on, and you are obviously going to include all the characters which is good. A very good start.

You might want to consider checking to make sure all the names begin with capitol letters before you post chapters. Otherwise it was a great start and I can't wait til the next chapter is up. I hope there's alot of angst and Max doesn't see Liz again until after the baby is born.
