No, the person who told you that it was lame and anti-climatic was right. It especially sucked in the last couple chapters. It was as if you'd grown bored with the story and didn't care anymore, at all.

The last chapter didn't suck. I wouldn't have thought of a better way to end it without killing anyone else off. *shrugs* Good story.

The ending was fine, it's sweet that Eric did that.
