Wow, I have never really been a fan of the Itachi/Naruto pairing but this was really well done. Poor Naruto, I felt so bad for him...but I really liked the characterizations and interactions between the two

GAH. I love Itachi/Naruto. I love it like a good car wreck (so terrible but...can't...look...away...). This is well done, because the despair is believable, and the emotions aren't overblown, and it's simply well-written on top of that.

BUT!

You say that plot doesn't come easily to you but look! It's right there! How did Naruto get stolen away? Is the rest of his team (and Jiraiya) looking for him? If not, why? I want to see them meet up again! I want Sasuke to rescue Naruto! Look at all that plot!
