This was a beautifully written story. Flawless, in my opinion. I loved the way you pulled the present and past together so eloquently.

This is a really great West Wing story! I felt so bad for Josh and hoped he survived. It was touchy and moving- including Taja!
The only thing is sometimes you failed to mention who the speaker is and I would get confused or try to figure it out.
I loved the flashbacks, they were very sweet and you write five-year-old Josh very well!

I hope you write more!

amazing story! i really really liked it. i love how you wove all the different events and POVs together- it definitely made the story a much better read. keep up the excellent writing! i'll be looking out for your works more often :D

*Sniffle* That was a well-written piece. I could see it as an episode of the show too. I really thought that they would find Josh dead and learn that his death had saved the little girl's life or something. Thanks for surprising me with a happy ending.

What a fabulous piece! you did a subpurb job of characterizing Josh and Donna, as well as all the others. i had a similar idea of Josh being injured in an explosion, but hadn't fleshed it out yet. i was delighted to read what you wrote. i loved the pieces of flashback to the fire when Josh was young and his relationship to his sister. Most people make it this perfect thing. you make it incredibly real. i thought the way you resolved Josh's issues with guilt. fabulous!

I loved this fic. The characterizations were so true. I loved how you portrayed the relationships. I had images of ItSoTG in my head. Great angst, characterization, and loved how it stayed true to the show.
