I also wanted to let you know that I selected this tale to be included in a C2 group I manage which showcases non-slash completed stories which feature any elf other than Legolas. While I am certainly not an expert at what makes a good story I have read a LOT of stories which could fit into my chosen category but have only selected a few to add to the C2 group. Wonderful as always, nice tension, I can see this happening considering everything they were going through, and the worst yet to come. Now only you would shove Glorfindel into a mud puddle. I almost snorted pepsi through my nose is was so funny a mental picture. I enjoyed the likening him to a "disgruntled feline". Nice vignette. |
| Mainframe 2003-06-08 ch 1, anon. | abuseHi! I'm a big fan of your Glory stories but just had to write and let you know what a scream this latest masterpiece of yours has done to me. I've been in stitches to the point of pain with the visuals you've created! I absolutely love the interaction between these two very dominant, stubborn elves. The fight way fabulous and the icing on the cake being Elrond lowering his standard enough to nudge Glory into the mud...perfect! Great stuff! And would dearly love to read more of it, you really do know your characters well and write some of the best original plot work I have had the pleasure of reading here in a while. Jen x |
