there is nothing i can think of that needs improving, except maybe more of the same.

This is very well done. Both Hiko and Kenshin remain in character, true to themselves and to the commitments they've made. Kenshin's seduction of Hiko is well written without being too explicit. The afterglow rings true without being at all gushy. Poor Kenshin. The lengths he'll go to in order to save Japan...

What a good idea; the trade is a bit more realistic than the two of them just falling into one another's arms, madly in love. I like it.

Hiko/Kenshin is my RK-OTP and it's rarely done. And even more rare it is to find good fics on them.
