You've captured the two of them nicely in this piece. I enjoyed Parker's hedging as she paused at the door. You managed to let the two of them share a moment without going all over the top (the two of them just don't do emotional with each other as a general rule).

I liked it. I would have liked quotation marks even more, but I suppose I can't have everything. ;)
