As a farce, some parts are pretty good; this does effectively mock the magical girl world encounters the Ranma-verse crossovers that are so popular. But there's not enough difference between chapters 2 and 3; they seemed basically the same jokes, slightly updated. Akane's reaction in not asking for a specific partner seems odd and somewhat contrived, after her experiences with Kodachi.

Interesting first chapter, and good for some laughs.
To answer the question in your author notes.
Saturn, while often viewed in a sense of "time" also has throughout his mythology many aspects of life and death.
Such as him devouring his children, only to have them reborn when he got sick and ejected them from his body. The Scythe is a common symbol of mythology also within the mythos of Saturn.
So while Saturn can be associated with time, one must remember that he has other associations.
Pluto ruled over the dead the realm of the deadc, but like saturn, had multiple instances where he stood ground in death, and time matters. His stealing of persephone and her eating resulting seasonal exile is often viewed in its deathly view, but is also shown to shot the time of seasons (I actually could cite better examples, but don't want to look through my old college term papers)
If anything, Mercury could also have deaths aspects since Mercury carried the psychopompous, and led the dead often to the other world ( a fact most people forget )
It is the same that in many interpretations of Jupiter, a tree carries over also as his symbol.

So, while its easy to generalize the mythologys, its not so elemental a system.

Or is it that they're both so darned similar? (Both blind to at least one Jusenkyo curse, both selfish and violent, both create poisons, hm... you may be onto something).

Heh heh heh... I truly enjoyed this one. I have read a couple of Sailor Moon/Ranma crossovers, and they do tend to follow a pretty predictable pattern. It was more than time for a farce. Not only is it funny but it's also clever; the idea of Sailor Flower and Sailor Whoremonger were pretty creative. Anyone would want those powers!

And your cute little assumption about female athletes was not missed... I kinda grimaced at that one, but I'm sure plenty of people will think it's funny. Overall, good stuff.
