Hello,
I just re-re-read this story and once again I fell head over heals for your Thranduil, who must be the sexiest Elf on Arda. ;-)
You do a wonderful, wonderful job with all of your stories that are full with excitement and loveable, realistic and true characters, and I thoroughly hope that you will continue some time.
Thank you, Nebride.
My best wishes,
Luin

Hi, remember me? I was wondering if your muse was back from vacation yet, as I'd like to hear the rest of this tale. Don't think I'm nagging or anythig, I was just wondering.

Hey nebride! you've never heard from me before, but i love all your stories! lol but hey, 's okay, right? well, your legolas/alede fics are awesome, and trust me, you write like a pro, so be happy. Heart of a King is just too cool, too, but will you please continue?! its driving me crazy not having any updates. btw, you should work on your pirates fic cuz it'll turn out great, even if its a mary sue. your first legolas/alede fic was a sorta-kinda mary sue, and if anyone sends you flames about it, then just refer them to me, and we'll settle the matter and you'll have nothin to worry 'bout. 'k, maybe i went a little to far, but flames aren't nice and if a person can't take a story, or doesn't like one, then they should just forget about the story and not vent their anger out on the author. anyway, thanks for blessing us with your awesome talent- you should do it more often! :)

hey time these two got it on again - I have enjoyed all your stories, and I hope you have been rescued by now from the sixteenth century.
I have been wrestling with posting my own fic (Unbinding the Box) so you have my every sympathy.
More more please.

I love it! I've read all your LOTR stories, and I thoroughly enjoyed them. I will wait (impatiently) for your muse to get back from the Caribbean, as long as you promise that this story will eventually be finished.

And I most definitely will not object to your muse's interest in pirates...not only did I love the movie, I also know how capricious muses can be. (Mine appears to have an attention span of three days.)

And no, Thranduil doesn't stand a chance. LOL!

You made my day. I was hoping you weren't enjoying your Caribbean trip TOO much that Middle Earth was getting a busy signal. Thranduil feeling a little intimidated? And now he is starting to dialogue himself hearing Adele's voice in his head? Too funny? If she only knew! And which pirate are we speaking of ? JD was really awesome in POTC...oh wait you meant OB (be still my heart). I'd stop waiting for publishers to see your incredible talent. Publish a book on your own. You can create your own cookbooks and sell them, why not your own book? I'd buy one, or maybe get some as Christmas gifts. I know how that rejection notice feels. Out of the thousands of poems and lyrics I've written, only 6 have been published (1 lyric and 5 poems), and one of those 6 published here in the U.S. is possibly going to be published within a collection of poetry by a company in the UK. The odds are always against us, isn't it? Unless you are an author like Robert Ludlum or Robin Cook or Mary Higgins Clark, the chances of making a real living from writing are slim. I didn't get paid for my poems to be published because I figured the free exposure was worth the small amount of money I would have made; that is why I have a full-time job besides this. I write to soothe my soul. WE LOVE your stories. WE LOVE you. You make us smile, laugh, bite nails, have our hearts drop out of us, cry, sit on the edge of our seats, make us angry, make us ache, make us swoon, make us cheer for our heroes. For an author to be able to keep their audience through the tide of emotions is a rare gift. You keep your chin up. Someone out there is going to open their envelope one day, read your story and say to their superiors -- "We need to publish this book." Hugs to you.

Ah, lovely! Romiel is fiesty enough to take on Thranduil! He needs someone strong like that for he is a stubborn and hot headed Elf! LOL And as for Elvin Friend- I loved it so much. I'm here on bended knee begging for a companion story to it told from Legolas' point of view. Whatdya say, huh? Please? Purty please? Purty please with a cherry on top? Purty please with a cherry on top and Legolas' holding the offering? ;) Purty please with a cherry on top and Legolas holding the offering, with his shirt open down to here? ;) LOL Will that do it?

Nebride, your author notes are as amusing as your stories... (grin) I recognize that stone knives and bearskins line, and saw the episode when it first aired! (heh heh heh... yes, I am that old...)

Anyway, it was a lovely chapter. Romiel rocks! Thranduil, you have found a woman worthy of your stubbornness... (grin) Looking forward to more fireworks!

And don't worry about updating slowly or sporadically. I am the QUEEN of late updates, and haven't died of it yet... (grin)
