very good idea, just one thing though, harry and ron already knew where the entrance to the slytherin common room is, and it's not a portrait, it is a wall which moves. remember? it's all in the second book.

Idea Haunted forest for the next story. There was three people who wandered into a forest for a hike. They had all the nessesary supplies. When they diecied to make camp for the night two of the three wandered to find fire wood. They were out looking when they heard a rustle in the bushes and they moved their flashlights to the bush. They watched as an old woman appeared out of the bushes. "Turn back while u still can," was her warning and she left.

Well that should get u going on another story for the contest. Well I just wanted to say i like the story. Very original. Keep it up.

Hey, rabbie here. Funny and also spooky first chapter! Draco's story wasn't very scary, but I can't wait to hear the others. I expect Crabbe and Goyle's will make no sense =). But Hermy's will be awesome because that girl can think up anything! And Ron's will be more or less scary but also sort of stupid. And Harry could just tell the story of his life and everybody would run away screaming! What does the winning team get? A prize? The satisfaction of knowing they won? The right to leave the common room without the * getting kicked out of them? On a side note, Harry and Ron went to the Slytherin Common Room in CoS so they should know what the portrait would be and Harry wouldn't have to assume, right?
