Really nice story _ short and wonderful.

I liked it very much. I've been reading the HP series for years and my favorite characters are Lupin, Black, James, Snape and Malfoy so I loved reading a story that focussed on some of the other characters. Not that Harry and friends aren't interesting...

Very good. I like this as a one-shot. It has all the markings of a short sweet origin story. I really liked the bad ideas the hat gave Black, though I think Moony, Padfoot, and Prongs were friends before hogwarts and Pettigrew is sort of the tagalong. All in all your writing is very consise, it flows and does'nt switch between past and present tense like so many other authors do. Nothing more need be added.

That was good! I liked how you didn't make Peter a suspicious person when he's only eleven. The way you portrayed his personality was how I think I imagined his to be when he was younger. *laughs* So it's all the Sorting Hat's fault for the mischievious Marauders! Great idea.
